How our city is recycling rubbish

• 230,000 other wise known as two hundred and thirty thousand tons of waste every year is piled up in a junkyard . If we recycle properly we can divert at least 140,000.
• Firstly the recycling truck comes along and picks up the recycling bin and takes the rubbish from inside./First of all the kerbside collection truck comes and takes the recycling bins rubbish.
• Next the kerbside collection truck transports the recycling rubbish to the VISY RECYCLING in Onehunga for sorting out.
• Then the recyclables are tipped out of the collection trucks and tipped out on VISY MRF ramp. 
• After that a loader driver scoops up the recyclables from the ground and tips it over into a conveyor which takes them into the sorting building.


• The recyclables are advanced on the conveyors then evened out by a levelling drum as they move along.


• The very first sorting stage is called pre-sort. This is where a team of sorters work quickly to remove things that aren’t recyclable. The sorter throws the rubbish that is not recyclable out.

Did you know that our worlds temperature is changing from perfect to hot and you're probably wondering who’s making our world hotter well it is you “now what did I do?” well i am going to tell you today!

If we humans keep on using electricity,gas,planes and vehicles then our earth is going to suffer because,first of all electricity:Electricity is a dangerous thing for example if you are going out to dinner with your family and suddenly you forgot to turn your lights of ,(OH NO)now if the lights have been turned on then the electric place will make a lot of gas as well then travel up through the chimney and CO2s will cover the air that we breathe in.

Now let’s learn about vehicles:Vehicles are also VERY dangerous as well because if we use vehicles then the gas that comes out of your vehicles will rise up in the air and cause even more CO2s.

So now let Learn about planes:Planes basically sends out CO2s as we’ll but here is how if we humans want to travel to different countries then why can’t we use our imagination because if you do use the plane to travel to travel to different countries then you are doing everything wrong because when the plane flies of then HEAPS of CO2s comes out of the plane.
